MORE JOBS LEAVING E. TENNESSEE 200 MORE LAYOFFS ANNOUNCED TODAY
http://www.volunteertv.com/Global/story.asp?S=2091523&nav=4QcHPCax

SNIP
More than 200 workers at an Oak Ridge company could lose their jobs.

Leaders at ClientLogic blame the loss of two clients recently as the reason for the cuts.

ClientLogic gave the workers layoff notices set for the middle of September.

THE good ole Bush adminstration record keeps getting better and better. Come on down to Tennessee and be poor with the rest of us....

6. Zogby seems to show the result...
...of the growing dissatisfaction even in what should be deep red states like Tennessee. Look at the new report here:

http://online.wsj.com/public/resources/documents/info-battleground04-frameset.html

Now click on Tennessee and look below at the tracking chart. Notice that only a month ago, Bush led here by nearly 19 points, and now it's trending blue. Given the number of textile jobs lost in North Carolina, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the same pattern there.

Perhaps working people are finally beginning to realize that unemployment and underemployment are greater threats to their marriages and family stability that gay marriage is.

7. Oh, man!
I moved away from OR 2 years ago; ClientLogic was just opening a new building (or something). What a crying shame.

But * is a uniter! AND a compassionate conservative. </heavy sarcasm>
