Do you remember he was giving a speech while he was Pres. when the power went out to the teleprompter for something like 20 minutes, and even the reporters in the room didn't know until after the speech was over. He just continued extemporaneously. He's very good at that. I wouldn't be surprised if, on his
prompter, there were talking points, and that's all.

I wonder if he writes his own speeches? I know when you are a candidate, and Pres., you have speech writers, and his was probably vetted by the Kerry campaign.

Did they actually watch the speeches, Clinton's especially? He may very well have memorized the entire thing -- he's brilliant enough to have done so -- but there was enough casual, seemingly off-the-cuff commentary that there's no way an objective observer could have concluded it seemed scripted.
