Let's hear it for C-Span!

Watching the Convention coverage, a few times I turned to news coverage just to hear a couple minutes of reaction to what was going on. Since most of what I heard was of no use, I happily turned it back to C-Span to watch the real deal. It was excellent just to see it all minus any spin.
We WILL win this come November. We have to! :thumbsup:

4. CSPAN was the ONLY channel I would watch this on

the others suck pond scum and I didn't turn to them even one time.

5. I've never really watched C-Span before but this was great!

So many camera shots and great close-ups! I almost felt like I was there!

6. I did the exact same thing. It was so much nicer to be able to watch

something without having someone else telling me what I should think about it.

....someone from CNN/FOX/MSNBC to explain what I just heard.

C-Span was the best, never even tuned in to the "news" channels.

8. C-Span - the ONLY place to watch

no blabbering, ditzy, negative talking heads, cutting in at inappropriate times. changing from the whore media to c-span was like drinking a glass of spring water after accidently swallowing a sip of backwash beer that someone put their ciggy butt into.

I found your convention coverage unprofessional and annoying, so I've decided to switch to C-Span for the remainder of the Convention.
I'm quite satisfied now.

up one side and down the next for their great service. I even offered to donate some bucks. LOL

remember when King Hussien of Jordan died and as an addicted news junkie, I frantically searched for coverage of the funeral. How often do you find the heads of state of nearly EVERY country on earth, gathered in one place, mingling and talking? Friends and arch foes, all at one gathering, it was a once in a lifetime thing. Only C-Span covered it all, and it was amazing.

25. out of curiosity I surfed over

2 cnn, during Big Al's speech. At first I was confused cuz they were running footage of the '00 FL recount w/ his speech as voice-over. WTF!!! I hit that 'go back' button and stayed there the rest of the night. CSPAN is the coverage!! Didn't U just adore that MTV essay winner? Nobody watching whorporate media saw him.

I loved that woman that called in after the convention recessed saying she was disappointed at how similar all the messages were. But she was certain the rethug convention would be more spontaneous because squatter is more open!!??!!??!!?? Have 2 marvel @ the amount of kool-aid some people have consumed.
