2. Probably not, but that's okay! |

Memory generally follows the primacy and recency effects, so it's perfectly appropriate that the DNC schedule the really big names for the beginning and the end of the convention. Not to say that I think the other days won't be good. I'm really looking forward to them. I'm looking forward to hearing Ron Reagan speak tomorrow night, in particular.

3. I'm still high from watching this convention unfold |

This whole thing has been a thrill for me. Watching President Clinton, President Carter and Al Gore was just outstanding. If tomorrow is better, I'd better double up on my blood pressure medicine. :bounce: :toast:  :hi:

Kerry's speech will exceed expectations by a country mile! He will step up to the plate and hit it out of the park.
He doesn't have to do what Clinton does...he has to do what KERRY does.
When people see his speech and see a PRESIDENT, there'll be no stopping him!

Tomorrow we have Dean, Ted Kennedy, and Barack Obama. You already know about Dean and Kennedy. Obama's got a 5 minute video about himself on his website, and it has a couple highlights of his speeches, as well as his accomplishments. It is well worth watching if you haven't.
Wednesday, obviously there is Edwards, then we have Kucinich, the hardcore progressive and Sharpton, who is always good for some entertainment and excitement.
Finally, in addition to Kerry on Thursday, there is Joe Biden, the only member of Congress with a son in Iraq, plus Max Cleland.
Edit: I said Friday instead of Thursday. A link is forthcoming for the Obama video.
