OK tonight was wonderful! I know that |
|
we don't get good poll data for a while--but how much of a bounce do you think we got from just tonight? I bet we could have gotten 5-6 points just from tonight--these were really heavy hitting speeches!

but from what I have read here tonight the cable channels were pretty bad so I guess it depends on what people watched.

3. Remember that ABC news pulls in more views |
|
than CNN, MSNBC, and FOXNEWS combined. Cable news can go fuck itself, it's irrelevent. Most people will hear it live on the radio or see it on network TV, without the repug colored glasses of the right wing cable news cabal. I can't believe not one of these stations is willing to be fair to us.

2. Big Dog alone worth 2-3 points. + Carter, Hillary, Gore. They |
|
are making the case for Kerry. I thought Hillary may have had the best line: "a serious man for serious times". Kerry himself has to close the sale on Thursday - I am sure he will.

4. I watched The Big Dog on ABC |

Turned over from C-Span just to see how the networks were showing it and it actually looked MORE electric and glitzy and powerful than on C-Span. WOW is all I can say. Americans watching network tonight saw Hillary and Bill at their best and what wonderful speeches.
This should shut up all that "Bill and Hillary want Kerry to lose" speculation.
All that said, Jimmy Carter won my heart tonight. You can just see in his eyes how passionately he wants Bush out of office. Carter is without reproach. Remember, he attended the Bush inauguration because he thought it was important for our democracy that we unite as a country after the fractious election and post election period. Jimmy Carter has clean hands to speak his mind -- and man did he!
I'm proud to be a Democrat tonight. Everything was brilliant. The Reverend who served with Kerry in Vietnam was very moving.
