Democrats: People from all races, creeds and walks of life are working together to elect Kerry.
Republicans: People from all sorts of different country clubs are working together to re-elect Bush.

Democrats: Bacon is tasty.
Republicans: Agreed.

Democrats: In retrospect, evidence did not justify war in Iraq.
Republicans: It was worth going to war to see Saddam with that crazy beard.

Democrats: John Kerry was a war hero.
Republicans: George W. Bush was a cheerleader. (Shows pic of W. in "uniform")

Democrats: Our vice presidential candidate exudes youth and vitality.
Republicans: Our vice presidential candidate exudes a strange wheezing noise when he climbs stairs.

I think he's pretty much always shown his disdain for the current admin. He tempers it a lot, but it's pretty clear.

Hits on some really important issues--the 2000 coup, black box voting, the top 1%'s class warfare against the rest of us, the grotesque mistake of the Iraq war--I may have to start watching Letterman again.

I mean what really is the reason the Neo-Cons giving for invading Iraq now anyway? As far as I know, they are basing it all on capturing Saddam, as if that solved anything.

I quit watching both Leno and Letterman after 9/11. The initial tributes were fine but then they both decided, like the rest of the media, that it was un-American to criticize Bush. So if you can't criticize the current president, why not do a little more Clinton-bashing?

I don't mind some equal-opportunity jokes, if they're funny! Sounds like Letterman is funny again!
