I would like to nominate Florida Governor Jeb Bush, Florida Secretary of State Glenda Hood, and former GOP State Senate Candidate Michael Fletcher.

Hood and Bush are currently considering reopening the qualifying period so that the GOP can find a state senate candidate to run for office. Last week, Bonita Springs anesthesiologist Michael Fletcher withdrew from the race after he admitted his signature on one of his qualifying forms was not signed by him. The state senate district covers five counties, Glades, Palm Beach, Lee, Hardy, and Charlotte. The ballots are already printed and according to state law, oversees ballots have to be mailed soon in order for them to be returned by August 31st, the state of Florida's primary.
