The "Peace President" myass. |
|
Isn't he the guy who said "Bring it on!' to the Iraqis, oh, about 600 dead-servicemen ago?
Perhaps it's the dyslexia. Perhaps he meant "Piece". Like "We get a piece of all the action from stolen oil to no-bid contracts?"

1. Did you here Jimmy Carter last night |
|
you can't be a war president one day, and then decide to be a peace president the next day, because of the polls.

2. How can he say that with a straight face? |
|
I dont get it. A lot of his supporters are gun-totin' red necks who WANT war. Why is he turning his back on his base? I've read the message boards over on yahoo and a lot of the Bush supporters refer to muslims as "ragheads" and they have the "kill em all" attitude. Will they just change overnight like he did to peace?

6. There are the gun-toting rednecks on the Yahoo boards... |
|
Sitting at their PC's in comfortable air-conditioning. They'll use their guns when it's hunting season.
Then there are the rednecks actually toting guns in Iraq--lots of white Southerners in the service. They might have a different viewpoint than the wimps at home.

8. Bravo...Monday Morning Generals... |

I've met my share and are tired of the "I was in the military types"...who when pressed were washing dishes or filing papers but now are full bird colonels and great military strategists. Of course time builds the legend in the mind...then dad exagerates to the kids about his "war stories"...then finds the internet and invents even more. Reading these mental midgets, one would think we won every battle and it was Clinton's penis that destroyed the military and made 9/11 happen. They selectively forget that the real major downsizing was drawn up by a certain Richard Chenney who was already in cahoots with Haliburton and KBR. I know that requires a thinking brain...something these "military types" left in that broken down jeep the fascist drill instructor on the History Channel drives.
Those I've met who were actually in battle will never openly talk about what they experienced and when they do you hear more fear in their voices than macho. And several of those people are very firm Kerry supporters...including a few who voted for Bunnypants in 2000 and detest him for how he's abused the military.

5. There is a pattern here |
|
* is now in "campaign mode". When in campaign mode, * is the "compassionate conservative" that "leaves no child behind" and fight to "save social security with real reforms". This cycle, he is the "peeese president".
All I can say is we have a saying here in California, at least you have one in Texas, and I think it's the same in California, fool me once, shame on... on... shame on you, fool me and you can't get fooled again".
