they were interviewing him. I hate to say this, but he didn't come across as good as I would've liked him to. They are going to do the same interview with bush during the republican convention. Anyone else see this?

2. Kerry was great on MTV..... |
|
He gave full answers that kids could relate to. Kids loved his ability to play the guitar and that he was in a rock & roll band. Kids asked him if he was 'kool' in college. Here, Kerry down played it and should have said, 'yes, he was kool as a leader, but not a cheerleader.' More kids voting for the first time said, they will vote Kerry. A kid said that she didn't want her president to be her friend, (not a Joe six pack), she wanted her president with intellect to run the country to the best of his/her ability.

3. I just caught half of it |

I guess I just had the worry that bush was going to do the same interview and they would just throw him softball questions and he would probably play it up better cause he's such an average guy (just like joe six pack). But I agree I don't want an average guy for president we need an above average guy.
I guess if the interviewer brought up questions about real issues bush would definately look like the fool he is.
At least they did talk about his heroism in the vietnam war. Something I have never seen the press do to this date.
