Lehrer criticizes the big three anchors.
Edited on Tue Jul-27-04 09:06 AM by lottie244
The "NewsHour's" Jim Lehrer criticizes the big three anchors for their networks' limited convention coverage: "We're about to elect a president… at a time when we have young people dying in our name overseas... The fact that you three networks decided it was not important enough to run in prime time, the message that gives the American people is huge.'' Watch the panel discussion.

3. Got that right
They use our airwaves to promote sex, violence and the usual assortment of sluts on the news.

Screw them. I get my news from the internet. The rest is just a parade of the pretties. Like watching a Mr. and Mrs. America contest.

4. Their News Credentials....
...should be pulled. The Democrats should DEMAND that they show the convention.

I'm pissed that the Cable News Channels didn't show more of the speeches -- they mainly focused on the big ones (Gore, Carter, the 9/11 Remembrance, Hillary and Bill). I watched C-SPAN the majority of the time with the exception of during and after the big speeches because I wanted to hear comments on the speeches.

I told my son in Kauai if he ever felt like watching the Dems in action and he was around a tv set to watch c-span cause they didn't have all those snide commentaries about the Dems.

He already told me that he was going to register to vote so he could help get bush out in the most important election of our lives!
