Suggestions to Michael Moore for Tonight's Interview with O'Reilly
Opening Statement:

"I will only agree to this interview if you agree not to cut me off, not to tell me to 'Shut up!' and not to cut off my microphone."

When cut off by O'Reilly:

"if your position is so weak that you can't even allow my position to be heard then why bother having me here?"

When accused of being un-American:

"The founding father's believed that dissent was the very nature of a healthy democracy"

When asked about putting troops in danger:

"I think the troops should be brought home to be free of danger. You and others like you are the ones who advocated putting them in harm's way."

Any others?

1. Don't interrupt! I always hate watching Faux news because when a liberal
starts to make a point that is sound, they ALWAYS interrupt so the point can't be made. They are so afraid of the truth, they have to silence it.

2. O'Reilly is so predictable and MM is master of counter-attack
They should tape MM's sparring sessions. He's probably having someone portray O'Reilly and mock scrimmaging to prep. Probably hilarious.

Looking forward to it.

3. The ground rules were negotiated in the Fleet parking lot
* They will take turns asking each other questions.
* The segment WILL NOT be edited.
* O'Reilly explains that the only reason Moore has avoided the "Factor" is because O'Liely walked out of the F9/11 premiere.

"We head back to the Fleet Center and as we are getting out of the Town Car, Bill O'Reilly is across the street getting out of his limo. "Hey Moore, when ya gonna come on my show?" he shouts. Michael responds, "When you see the rest of my movie." (O'Reilly walked out of the premiere halfway through.) He claims to have gone back and seen the whole thing, but when pressed for specifics, hems and haws. Nonetheless, Michael takes him at his word and they stand there out on the street negotiating the terms of the appearance as various Guardsmen and law enforcement types gawk and snap photos. They finally settle on a format: they will take turns asking each other questions. O'Reilly agrees not to edit the segment, and to explain in the intro that Michael has only been boycotting him because he walked out of the premiere. (It should air tonight. We'll see if he keeps the last part of that promise.)"

4. Here's Hoping Mike Brings His Own Camera Crew
What a great equalizer that would be. Moore walks into the Fox ivory tower with his own crew and demands they have the right to film the interview and all of Moore's movements...since they are credentialed guests...or no dice.

I expect Moore has something in store for O'Reilly and wouldn't go on if he didn't have some card up his sleeve. I'll be looking forward to watching.

Two things to expect: O'Reilly giving Moore the back-handed compliment that he's a "up-front guy" for showing up...then will go right back to calling him a coward, but just will drop the "since he won't appear on the "Factor" shit".

The other...he'll do a long intro with lots of clips...do a lecture before he goes to Moore who then is supposed to be cowered into submission. I don't think that's gonna happen.

It hasn't been an easy week for Faux in Boston from what I hear. They're being shunned by most and it's reporters have been getting jeered at all over town. A buddy emailed me that the local Faux TV station, Channel 25, has its own crew and won't work with the Faux News people...they don't even want to be seen with them. Ahh, all is well in Rupertland...LOL.
