Why George Bush won't fund education...
He benefits from a dumbed-down population. This chart is remarkable:

1. Not Just Bush, Corporations
We are being bred to be Good Consumers. Good Consumers listen to four out of five doctors, and don't have time to ask for credentials. Stupid people make Good Consumers.

2. holy crap
that chart is remarkable! And note too the IQ as compared with income.

Damn. Why is it that poor people EVER vote for Bush? Do they want war so they can go to war since they can't get jobs otherwise?

4. What's amazing as well
Is that 15 of the 16 states with the highest IQ's voted for Gore (with New Hampshire the exception). Bush won 25 of the 26 states with the lowest IQ's (New Mexico the exception). And both those races were incredibly close.

The odds of such a near-perfect split like that happening by pure coincidence are impossibly low.

3. it's just a step towards privatization
that's how it's all geared. make the school suck, classify it as failing, give the money to the halliburton owned school.

5. Just exactly how does one compute Average IQ for an entire state?
Last I checked, no one gave me an IQ test...
