Wow ~those Democratic Women Senators
Talk about impressive. They were vivacious attractive and intense. We have so much to be proud of and that was really apparent when I saw them on that stage last night. I am awed at how young and attractive they all appeared. Not what your conventional Senator used to look like. If America keeps this up we will overcome. No longer the "good ol' boy club" I was truly impressed

1. Agreed...
Just compare them...

Put Mary Landrieu, Blanche Lincoln, Barbara Boxer, Hillary (my fav), and Deb Stabenow in a room with the likes of Lott, Frist, Whorin' Orrin and McConnell and look at what you have. The DemLadies have intelligence, savvy, a drive to help out everyone and some huge brass balls... No wonder the Repubs wana keep women pregnant, barefoot and chained to a stove.

2. I think they could have staged it better, though
Barbara Mikulski is so tiny; it was kind of distracting for all of those much taller women to be behind her. I think they could have flanked her differently; perhaps used a riser.

Minor quibble, though.

5. Distracting? Are you kidding.

So many people are still not aware that Democrats are thinkers and it is the content of their words not what they look like or how tall or how many wrinkles they have or their age or sexual orientation or color of their skin! B. Mikulski is a grand woman and when she speaks I see no size...why did you? Eyes rolling back at ya!

I was very proud of every single strong, intelligent and hard working committed woman senator up there on the platform...very inspiring of us all.

3. Yeah, I was impressed too
Mary Landrieu looked adorable. I love her. Of course, Hillary was stunning, quite the star. The others were also great, especially the speaker, Mary Mikulski? (I don't remember how to spell her name). I was proud to be a democrat last night, and I'm sure the rest of the convention is going to be wonderful. GO DEMS!!!!

4. and why there aren't more of them....
I think it's nice to honor and highlight the female
Senators and it just brings up the question, why isn't
half of the Senate female?
