1. Stop listening to drudge
Those ratings don't take any of the Cable news ratings into account OR CSPAN.

3. cable news doesn't have the penetration of the networks
they would get fractional ratings of what the networks would get.

4. I think the problem was
they didn't start until 10 p.m. They've never done that before. I think a lot of people probably went to bed.

I really hope they improve by Thursday!

5. That's because we were watching C-Span.
It's a waste of time to watch the convention on the 3 major networks and the cable news networks.

The idiots on there don't know how to shut the hell up so you can hear the speeches.

6. Everyone I know who was watching was watching CSPAN!
And I know at least 30 people, friends and family, who were watching.

Screw CNN, MSNBC, etc. No one wants to hear their stupid bullshit drivel anyway. They are a joke.

11. PBS isn't much better - but they're covering prime time 3 hours
8 pm - 11 pm

They've also got commentators Mark Shields and David Brooks.

12. Those are for the broadcast networks
I assume many were watching on cable.

When you add up the Big Four, and CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, FOX News, C-SPAN, PBS, etc., I'm willing to bet the numbers all added up will be fairly decent.

All that paragraph says is that not as many people watched network coverage.

14. I watched C-Span
I think anybody who was planning on watching the convention was either watching on cable or C-Span. I'm not surprised by the broadcast ratings at all.
