Send Me
I thought the phrase, "Send Me"

would be all over the net today. I've seen it only on Vet sites.

Why?

I would like some feedback.

Thank you.

Send John Kerry."

5. I'm with you
I thought that was one of the best parts of the evening. It should be repeated whenever those whores ask "Does Kerry really think he should be Pres just because he had combat experience and Bush* did not?"

The answer s/b "It's more than that. Time after time, when this nation faced danger, Kerry didn't shirk his responsibilities. He said 'Send me in". He confronted the danger and succeeded. He faced the draft, and he volunteered for combat. He faced enemy bullets, and he raced into them and defeated the enemy. He came home to a country at war with itself, and he didn't run. And now, when our nation is once again at risk, Kerry has stepped up to face the danger."

8. The media don't know what to do with such a Biblical theme
That's part of Clinton's brilliance in using it. The echoes to the call of Isaiah are breathtaking:

(Isaiah 6:8 NRSV) Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I; send me!"

In one little phrase, Clinton managed to pick up a prophetic/visionary/servant theme with none of the sanctimoniousness of the religious and political right.

9. I also thought that phrase would be more over the news
That was my fave part of Big Dog's speech.

I guess "Shove it", which they're still talking about on CNN, 2:39 p.m. est makes much better discussion.
