OK, so I don't get out and ride as much as I like, but you'd think a lowly VCR mechanic/Video Engineer would have more riding time than the "Leader of the Freep'd World" wouldn't you?

So can you understand how disappointed I am to find out that a Coke-addled, Alcoholic, lazy frat boy can out-ride me?
18 miles in an hour-20? and I thought 25 in an hour-59 was good....

Why do I even bother? C'mon, take me to the "Scooter Store" and fit me for a tag-a-long bottle. I give up.

Anyone got a smoke?

Or do you think the Chimp's fabled performance is another one of his LIES?

2. Actually 'W' is...
in pretty good shape. He does actually run a 7 minute mile and bikes fairly well.

Having all that vacation time really works for him I guess...

3. It's Really Flat in That Part of Texas, Isn't It?
Didn't he crash again? Probably fell into another pile of pig shit.
(The Crawford "ranch" was a pig farm before * bought it).

4. If he is willing to lie about wmds, being awol etc etc why wouldn't
he lie about his biking performance? Let's see his 1 hour 20 minute performance on film. I wouldn't take him at his word if you paid me.

5. I believe NOTHING these assholes say, anymore.
And I doubt the American people believe anything from them, either. They've just lied too many times, and they aren't even good at it, the bumbling idiots.

6. it's the "trophy wife" syndrome, BiggJawn ...
Georgie puts a lot of time into primping and preening himself. Thing is, he has hundreds of staffers who can cover for him, so he can get away with taking a lot of time out for his own personal routine. Most of us have work/family obligations and are too occupied with scuttling to our second jobs (or driving the kids to soccer practice, or trying to stock up on groceries). If you had the leisure time he does, and an army of flunkies -- you'd probably be in that "top 5% of the population" Bush's spinners are always blabbing about.

So don't give up! Heck, it would be fun to put together a DU racing team dedicated to crushing those "record" times Bush trumpets so much. (Apparently he is VERY sensitive about being beaten ... can you believe, he insisted that everyone taking part in that White House "Fun Run" had to wear a microchip, and he got copies of their split times and scrutinized them in the limo on the way back from the event -- he then sought out people who had outperformed them, and needled them.)

I don't believe that Bush is TRULY fit. Look at how chubby he gets if he can't run for a few days. The guy stuffs himself with junk food, and then works his body until he injures it. Not healthy behaviour -- ask any physician.

I have to say that I was quite pleased to find out that my boss (a lifelong American Democrat who's almost Bush's age) bested his marathon time, and goes on hundred-km cycling trips several times a year -- and hasn't trashed his knees.
