1. idea
How about we do a little of what they did to us in 2000? How about we fund some TV ads reminding conservatives that Arnold is not one of them and urge them to vote for Bill Simon or Tom McClintock.

2. that doesn't solve the recall problem
while we should vote for Bustamante in unity, I still think that this recall should be our main enemy. If the recall passes, we lose even if Bustamante wins, becuase it will prove that the Republicans can hijack a democratic election with money whenever they want. I wont stand for that.

3. I watched Arnold tonight. He all but said he was no Republican.
And, I don't think he is. At least, he is not a trendy "Tom Delay/ Bush" Republican. This could be fun, folks.

9. Hold on...
But if you vote no on the recall I didn't think you got to vote yes for someone else.

11. I'll vote No on the recall, but
I won't vote for Bustamante. I was set to until I heard his pledge to lay more taxes on cigarettes and alcohol. Raising *sin* taxes is a precedent set by our *temperate* friends on the right- (with a little help from some pretty greedy leagle-beagles). Like the phony recall here and the phony redistricting in Texas, it's a trend I won't endorse.

Tax ultra-consumerism like SUV's, luxury boats, private jets, million-dollar *retreats* and other very high end items which are nice but not critically necessary and indicate in most cases, more money than conscience. And raising car registration? Do the same to the above modes of transportation as well. See how much that raises, then look for other areas that don't punish the middleclass and the poor excessively.

5. This kind of infighting could very well
be what gives the election to Bustamante.

7. One answer:
NO on the recall.
Yes on Bustamante for backup.

Period.

8. To clarify...
This isn't an endorsement. It's just funny.
