We need to send President Carter Congratulations Emails!!!

I was just sitting here thinking and reflecting on President Carter's speech last night. I think it was possibly the best speech he has ever given. He was eloquent, gentlemanly, and articulate. At the same time, he probaly gave the most damning arguments for returning the White House to honest, capable men.

Too often, it seems that President Carter is overlloked by Democrats, especially those of us old enough to remember the troubled times of th later 1970's.

Let's take a minute tosend email congrats to the President for the awesome speech he gave. He reminded me again why I'm a Democrat.

The Carter years are WHY I am a Democrat.
His visionary foriegn policy was light years ahead of the rest of us. He COULD just stand there and shout "I told you so, 30 years ago, didn't I"??? But he is too dignified for that. (so I will do it for him he he he )

I lived in Atlanta when Jimmy was the Governor and when he announced that he was running for Presidency. I think I was the first person in America, other than Jimmy, that knew he was going to win. :)

your congresscritters and protest the cuts to the Section 8 housing program.

Or, call 1-800-839-5276, ask for the congresscritter of your choice, and ask for all the Section 8 funds to be reinstated.

It's at least as important.

14. Will do! I want to commend him especially on his

alternative energy programs that obscene Reagan replacement of his later demolished in the name of "obsolescence". At least Carter gave a damn about society. Which is infinitely more than what I can say for every president since (barring one. Mr. Clinton wasn't perfect, but he did far more for people than any reagan or bush did.)
