RNC to unveil a new ad tomorrow morning!
I just heard this on CNN. The 11 minute ad is to use video of Kerry in his own words to prove how he changed his positions on a lot of different points. Initially, it's going to be emailed to RNC supporters and posted on their web site.

www.RNC.org

I hope MoveOn or the dem web site can do the same for the shrub!

1. They don't care who will see it online.
But expect the media to show it over and over and over.

Free of charge.

3. Kerry has changed his position
To please the people and to get elected which is no suprise. What Kerry will actually do in office heavily outweighs just a small thorn in the side.

7. Tell me where Kerry has changed his position.
If the President refuses to fund his own No Child Left Behind bill, I would say that is the President changing his mind.

When the President says he is going to spend 15 billion new dollars on AIDS and then takes money from other programs, that is the President changing his mind.

18. I did see the short clip CNN played.
They mentioned voting for the war, now against it; voting for the $87B now against it. That's all I saw, but those things are no surprise. There are valid explainations for each of those, and probably all the rest...whatever they are. I just hope the Dems are on the ball to give their explainations!

2. Emailed to supporters?
Interesting. Obviously they're concerned about losing some of their base during the convention.

4. Good point. I still believe EVERYTHING must be refuted!
There's truth to the idea that if something is repeated over and over enough without being rebutted, it becomes the truth!

5. I think that having the flexibility to change your positions
is a good thing. I have changed my mind on many things, as my experiences and knowledge have become more well-developed. Why should Kerry be locked into positions for all time? Why is it a bad thing if he adjusts his positions as he matures?

9. I don't disagree with that. I think the Dems have to state that.
I think any leader who doesn't change his mind when he receives more information, or when a situation changes is a bull headed idiot. All I'm saying is that the Dems have to state that fact. They can't just let these pubs post this crap without responding.

12. Who said last night . . .
. . . something about changing course before you go over the waterfall or something like that?

A true leader is one who knows when to change course, not one who obstinately believes the original one is the ONLY one.

11. Yes, I agree
I didn't mean to imply that we ignore it. No, we should refute it as vehemently as any other bag of lies they put out.

Just thought it was interesting that they feel they need to shore up their base that strongly. Fear?

13. Stupid unemployment rate bullshit.
They compare Clinton's from 1993-1995 to 2001-2003 - they're totally cherry-picking the data! Let's hear about the unemployment rate under Clinton after that, lying fuckwads!
