What if bush Inc gets to them and convinces them to vote for him even though the state went for Kerry? Would we have an recourse?

If something like that happened, you would see rioting in the streets. The electoral process should be eliminated. It should be based on the popular vote.

If Kerry did that bad a job picking his electors, he'd deserve what he got.
The elector for my congressional; district was Don Evans, the guy who introduced Bush to Laura. I think Bush was pretty confident he wouldn't flip. I imagine every elector had a similar relationship to the party or the candidate.
