all the repubs have is hatred in their hearts and teeny tiny brains, so they jump all over teresa's shove it and kerry's clean suit photo as if these were actual talking points.

surely we here in DU can come up with 100 photos of bush being truly stupid and dressed up in silly costumes and knocking his monkey ass head on the helicopter door repeatedly and picking his nose unaware the camera has been invented, or dropping puppies in front of horrified kids, or smirking angrily at intelligent questions from reporters, or falling off a segway, or having his crotch pecked by a turkey, or throwing out the first ball like a girly man, or mugging sappily like alfred e. neuman, or sweating like a condemned man at the urban league speech, or maybe sr. bush puking on a japanese dignitary's lap. so have your little cheap laugh. we have pics of bush in a flight suit looking like a kid on halloween and pics of John Kerry putting his own ass on the line in vietnam so shut the fuck up ed gillespie.

1. The actual, unphotoshopped photo is not silly

I see nothing at all silly about it, and wonder what the contrived interest is in this. So some dumbfuck can photoshop and make fun of the next president, and a dumbfuck "news" organization shows it. They should be ashamed, though morons rarely have enough insight to self-reflect on their thoughts and actions.

2. I don't understand why the bunny suit photo is considered silly.

My husband worked in a clean room with a full bunny suit. It was a good paying job with great benefits. Of course, a few years back, the company outsourced the work to Asia & all 450 people were laid off three weeks before Christmas.

Kerry should be applauded that he is curious and interested in many different things. Besides, in our superficial society, we put way, way too much emphasis on how our candidates LOOK. Even more than how they speak, which amazes me whenever I have the misfortune of listening to our current pResident mangle our language.

3. we've been effected by the soft bigotry of low expectations

a favorite term of bush's, suggesting that all blacks need do is expect better, and they be free of 'soft' bigotry or some such shit.

there's nothing silly at all about the photo, other than anybody would look odd in a suit like that, ESPECIALLY bush. someone should simply place bush's face in it with trick photography, or find hundreds of really stupid bush pics. all they have is one pic of Kerry? lightweights

4. They keep saying that he toured a "lab" at KSC

The pictures I have seen are of Kerry wearing a "bunny" suit crawling into and out of the space shuttle. That round hatch he is posing in front of is the shuttle hatch. Anyone who has ever been close to the space shuttle doesn't laugh at that picture. I think this is manufactured "funny" picture- it's not funny at all.
