4. Gallup has him leading in several states...

on the website www.Gallup.com, front page.

But "'tons' of polls" is just too vague to address, I'm afraid. Do they mean nationally, or in state-by-state polling?

Ask your rightie friend to give an example or a URL. There are "tons" of polls available and some are not worth the bandwidth they consume.

My personal favorite is www.pollkatz.com. Click on approval to see the pResident's approval trend of all the well known polling organizations. It ain't pretty.

Hmmmm, that's strange. All of these polling companies support & endorse John Kerry (except the 2nd one...I couldn't get it to open)

This was at the bottom of one of the polls.

Anyway I do find it strange that the polls that we had that don't support one candidate over another...had GW in the lead...but the ones that endorse Kerry...support him.
