1. It's time we stop worrying about them.
Ted Kennedy is a great liberal, and we're lucky to have him.

Those reich wing jerks love to hate on Ted, they have done it for years and he is still going strong.

He is one of the most powerful advocates for liberal values that we have and I can't wait to hear him speak tonight.

6. Ted Kennedy has probably done more for middle class Americans then
all of the other congress critters combined. Let the republicans have a field day with him. Shows how stupid they are. He is a great senator and democrats should embrace him.

7. If his speech is even close to the one he gave
over twenty years ago, it'll be one for the ages.

My thoughts on him: He's a leader that grew into the job over the years, and next to Kerry, is the best thing to happen to liberals since Roosevelt.

Fuck what the righties say. I take pride in the fact that Ted Kennedy is still out there fighting the good fight.

8. This man has never taken a penny in salary - he gives it all
to charity, and always has, so I don't really want to hear a word about him that isn't praise. Like ScarletWoman said - they can SHOVE IT!

13. I find Kennedy inspiring.
It is significant that all the Republicans ever do is try to subject him to ridicule and namecalling. You never hear them actually try to challenge the substance of his views or comments, other than to occasionally complain that he is being too truthful.

17. They attack Ted because they're scared of him . . .
He's what they fear most, a liberal with a backbone who speaks his mind without fear. He has support and will continue to be re-elected until he choses to retire. They know that he will be there to confront them for years to come and they can't stand it.

19. A field day of fools.
The more they go after Dems, the less time they have to pump up Bush. It's been said over and over, they can't say anything good about the pResident without lying, so they must resort to bashing all of our people - EVEN TERESA. We're strong. We can take it.

why not have good liberal speakers like Ted Kennedy.

22. i knew it.. here it goes
That actually feels sick to my stomach when I see Ted Kennedy talking about the horrible atrocities that Bush has commited???? I cannot believe that man even has the gall to speak about what horrible things others have done or are doing.
Here is a man who killed a woman. Wait, actually left a woman to die a horrible death while he went home to sober up. I cannot believe that the people of Mass. elect him over and over and over again!!!!! He is the worst excuse of a human being that I have almost ever seen and yet her is revered in political circles as some humanitarian, some savior of the little people?
Is there anyone else out there that has such an immense dislike as I for this waste of oxygen?
