1st Tweety Slimings of the Evening
Two guests were JK crew members, who praised JK's deeds and leadership qualities from their first hand knowledge in Vietnam.

Tweezer said, "I was in the Peace Corps, so I don't know but I've been told that there are two kinds of combat types------those who aim for medals and risk their men's lives and those who try to get them home safely. Which kind was he?" The two said he was for their safety and they were for his.

Then another slime: He blindsided them, saying, "I get a sense that JK is physically fearless." They agreed, talking about his courage. He let them talk, then sucker punched them: "Well, that wasn't the answer I wanted to hear. I think the best leader is one who experiences a little fear."

It's going to be a Tweezer drinking game night.

2. Did they slug him?
That's what he deserved. Either that or a comeback like, "He doesn't fear media whores like you."

6. Now with HOFFA
"Was JK ever a working man? Did he ever have a job? What do you guys have in common with him?"

HOFFA said JK had been a member of a union in MA. Tweezer said, "Was it a summer job? What did he do?"

This is from Tweezer who brags about having been a Capitol policeman. Turns out it was a rent-a-cop gig that lasted 3 months.

11. I just heard him insist Kerry was a flip flopper again to the Union guy
he LOVES it when he gets a chance to trash Kerry to someone who can be truly embarrassed. He gets a big thrill out of making other people uncomfortable. "Oh he USED to be fro free trade, and now he's a sort of protectionist...HAH! He wants jobs but are you worried is he gonna flip again? "

he gets so amused when he uses the talking points. He sounds like The Penguin: HAH! (chews cigarette holder) quack quack quack

little fear. It's crazy to think that Kerry was a fearless leader. I'm sure there were times when he had to think of what the consequences of certain actions might be before he did take action.

Tweetie is like all the other people who would never put themselves in harms way as Kerry did yet are trying to belittle what Kerry did.

That's how it was for most of us when we came home. We were told to do our duty yet after words we were never heroes. It goes on today with Kerry.

16. Tweety likes it when a leader experiences fear that keeps an ass planted
in a seat for 11 minutes after he's told the US is under attack.

19. Wait a minute.
Did I mishear? I could have sworn the one soldier said that Kerry did in fact show fear, and he could tell by the look on his face. And that in spite of the fear of knowing that he could die, he came in and saved him anyway. And then Tweety asked him to make the face and the guy said he might be able to if he had a few drinks. And Tweety said that was the answer he "wanted" to hear. Did I not hear it correctly?

22. I don't know for sure.
I just figured since the soldier said that he saw the look on his face and knew that Kerry knew the danger, and came anyway, the look indicated fear. What was the analogy he used? I can't remember. Sorry.
