DU had a HUGE dip in website traffic in the past week

As you can see, over the past week, DU had a huge dip in wesbite traffic over last week:

However, wesbite traffic has made a comeback over the last 2 days. Any clues as to why the anomalous dip in wesbite traffic?

Hmmm, very odd....I'd think just the opposite. That the convention would be driving more visits to DU.

Are people so focused on the TV that they are off the net? Or are lots of DUer's on vacation?
