Am I being delusional in thinking that appealing to the anti-war contingent and emphasizing the mess we made in Iraq would fire up swing voters who watch network news every night and keep track of the rising daily death toll?

Not to suggest that healthcare isn't important. It IS, jesus christ, it's incredibly important. But with the Nixonian corruption and warmongering that's happening under Bush, you'd think that the theme would be, "we won't go to war unless necessary." At least I would.

I guess you could argue that the Democrats are putting forward a coherent platform and suggesting future legislative moves. But I dunno, I was expecting them to be in more of an attack mode.

I'm probably just talking out of my ass again. Let's go watch Obama speak.

3. EXACTLY!
You can't tell me that the Bush deficit was unintentional; the repukes don't WANT healthcare for the masses.

And the War Spending.....bar some new Internet bubble, where's the money gonna come from?

6. F9/11 has been convincing swing voters.....
It'd be sad for the politicians themselves not to take up that sword.
