So, does Ron Reagan Jr want a career in politics? |
|
He did great with that speech. Not an ounce of partisanship. Is he the one to further the 3rd party cause?

He's said many times he's not interested in running for political office.

2. He says he'd never be elected because he is an avowed atheist. |
|
On Larry King a few weeks back, that's what he said when asked that question.

I heard him say that he says that (about the atheism) more as a conversation-stopper, rather than hear people attempt to pursuade him. Not that I don't agree; despite the Founders' position that there should be no religious test required for holding office, no open atheist can get elected above dogcatcher in the U.S.

6. No, but I had some thoughts today |
|
after watching both Ron Jr. and Ben Affleck on the punditry circuit... these guys can hold their own against the jaded "inside" crowd and the repub "talking points" heads. I think they should both try out for shows on MSNBC or someplace... I'd watch. Ben actually said he *wanted* that job (he may reconsider when he compares salaries). Ron would be a natural.
