What would happen if we all stagged a block cable news channel day?

If thousands of people called their cable carriers up and blocked the right wing news media channels do you think that it would make a difference?

I do and I would like to create a web page to stage a block cable news channel day.

Let's send the corporate owned media a message that we are not going to put up with their BS any longer.

Our party is so strong right now and we need to unite around each other and start protesting for our rights.

We have a right to "fair and balanced" news.

4. Best advice I've heard all year.

I have a TV for two reasons: PBS and Mystery Science Theatre tapes. I haven't had cable since I was in my teens, and I'm probably better informed than your average TV viewer; I already knew about everything that was in F9/11, while my TV-watching friends were shocked.

Turn off that fucking TV altogether; you'll be a lot happier.

Their coverage is disgusting.

We should tell them to go CHENEY themselves and watch C-Span on Thursday when John Kerry accepts the nomination.

9. I downgraded to Basic Cable in protest of GOP influence

on TV.

If we all did it....it would shake up the cable industry....and perhaps they would start to balance the coverage.
