Is Jim Breaux in pockets of Drug companies?
It seems to me he is.

1) He supports Direct to Consumer Advertising and sales people in
the offices of physicians.

2) He had a party at the convention that was bought and paid for by the drug companies. (check out motherjones.com article)

Do Democrats need sellouts like this?

2. The bastard's leaving
He did provide a couple supportive votes for Democrats, but mostly he was harmful to working people and their kids. He couldn't wait to cozy up to George W Bush in early 01. Like a jackal.

4. granted he does represent lousinana but still
Daschle and the other dakota dems have a more liberal record than he, so he has no excuse, and the other sad thing is his likely dem replacement is even more conservative.

5. I don't mind conservative
but I do expect somebody to represent the people in good faith.

Dems should expect the highest integrity, but I suppose it is impossible to keep the rats out.

7. No Affordable healthcare in Louisiana
You would think with all those connects that they would have affordable healthcare and drugs in Louisiana.

I have a friend dying of AIDs and he can't get any kind of treatment or drugs. Hell he can't even get housing. I called and tried to get help for him and the only thing we could get was a free bus pass.

It's pitiful down there.
