I got to go to Barack Obama's party tonight!

Washington state senators Jeanne Kohl-Welles and Seattle City Council President Jan Drago got us into the party. There were like ten bazillion people. We saw Obama at the party, but weren't able to get close to him.

However, I did get close to him on the convention floor, and would have gotten a great picture, if some so-and-so hadn't jumped into the frame at the last second. Here is what I was able to get:

the photo of the portion of the head and the eyes looked like Harold Ford.I am not saying that it IS NOT Obama. I am saying that shot reminded me of Harold Ford.

Yes, we tend to hear a lot that we all look alike. All I can say is that we could clone Ford and Obama all day long for my money.

It is a compliment to both STARS, Ford and Obama, that they look like African Americans, have strong family values and offer high hopes for ALL people. There is no doubt that they are African Americans and that pleases me and makes me proud.

I am thrilled that they serve as role models for our children.
