Jack Cafferty's question today: what would you do?
What would you do, based on the 9/11 report? My answer:

The first change? It’s simple: elect a president who will make us safer by focusing on defeating terrorism rather making us less safe by invading countries that present no clear and present danger to the US or its allies. The conflict in Iraq is not a “front of the war on terror.” It was an elective, offensive war that has enflamed the Muslim world, uniting it in its hatred of the US. So I say, elect a president who will go after the real enemy, Al Qaeda and its ilk. Elect a president who will hold Pakistan and Saudi Arabia accountable for their support of radical Islam. Elect a president who will actively address the looming crises in North Korea and Iran—two countries that actually have WMDs. In short, elect John Kerry.

1. John Kerry
supported the war in Iraq, and Has no plan on NK or Iran. Dr. Dean is a far better choice on this "front".

3. Agreed. Unfortunately, that's not an option (barring a Convention miracle)
I wish he was the candidate, too, but it seems that "clearer heads" have prevailed. Maybe we'll be ready to make a real change someday, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen this year.

4. True and shameful, but...
He would never have attacked Iraq in the first place. The Iraq war was a personal vendetta. It was Bush Jr. showing Poppy he could beat him at his own game. "See, Dad? You said I'd never amount to anything--but I captured Saddam and you let him go!" Remember, Bush says he calls upon a "higher father" for counsel. I think Poppy is totally embarrassed, which is why you don't see him on the hustings.
