Do you think this is something they will try to play up, will the not get the jist of both speeches. Will it be an issue? Sometimes I think people will take something at first glance and not hear the message contained inside.

1. No, both are calling for the same thing......

Obama's is saying we NEED to be united not divided, and Edwards is detailing the ways in which the current administration has divided us. Both call for a unified America.

But you're right, the media won't get it (what else is new).

2. I think Obama's United States of America is powerful

maybe because it is new, it so electrified the crowd last night, and was delivered in such a great way.
