Theresa was the bomb also. Obama will be the media star because |
|
his media was positive but they will ignore Carter's message of truth and exposure and THK's message of "shove it." Last night, I think she said "f...you." Her sons are handsome and appear to be smart and ready to get involved in politics.

1. THK Was excellent last night, and people are saying so. |
|
I loved her opening comment about people knowing by now that she has something to say.
THK is reflective of many American women, who have lost their spouse prematurely and have stepped out into business. Certainly, the money helped - but THK realizes this and that is why she works to help woman and families.

is ready to make a foray into politics (as a Democrat) in Pittsburgh. I hope he runs against Beast Santorum.

He sounded extremely articulate, smart, funny, charming and RATIONAL. How could anyone vote for that Beast who took a miscarried baby home for his small children to hug good-bye over Chris Heinz???

7. Senator Christopher Heinz - that works for me. |
|
In one sense, it's quite a leap to run for the U.S. Senate for one's first political office. But the reality is that a Senate candidate needs a lot of funding and statewide name recognition. He has that. And as loved as John Heinz was by Pennsylvania Republicans, Chris would get a large percentage of their votes. How sweet it would be to have a Heinz defeat Santorum. Santorum has next to no presence on the state scene. He may keep an apartment somewhere for his official address, but he moved his family to the DC/No. VA area during his first term. I do not understand how he has hung on to his office so long.

There's also rumor that he'll run for Melissa Hart's House seat.

9. That's exactly what I thought. |
|
I turned to Mr. Ripley at the start of her speech and I said "let's see if we can find the so-called aggressive, hard-to-understand-foreigner hate speech that the media will use against her tomorrow."
I never once had trouble understanding her words. She absolutely reeks of CLASS. Her demeaner is strong, but not at all aggressive, in fact the way she holds her body in check makes me think she is sort of shy. I cannot think of one thing she said that they could use against her...what? like OMG she marched with protestors in S Africa to keep schools integrated, or OMG she works tirelessly giving her money to philantrhopic ventures that are Humanitarian and Environmental!
She is better than I thought (first time hearing a speech of hers).
