of course i'm quite fond of debbie (stabenow) too - i "correspond" with her more often. with levin, i just make the assumption that he is on the correct side of an issue. our senators and governor are part of the best part of living in michigan.

Given the hand she was dealt from a former repub gov.... she has done a fantastic job. She came to Greenville(my hometown) a half a dozen times trying to stop Electrolux Manufacturing from moving to Mexico. They employ over 2500 people in a town of 9000... in the end... they had their minds made up and they wouldn't change it. But her efforts were stellar... Its to bad she is Canadian..... she would make a great President....

He is my Senator and I am very proud of his stance on just about everything. I went to the Traverse City Cherry Festival parade last year and he was walking in it. As he passed people would give him a standing ovation (not all, but a good number).
