who else could he have been talking about when he said: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/specials/elections/conventions/chi-040727obamaspeech,1,3672564.story?coll=chi-homepage-fea
The pundits like to slice-and-dice our country into Red States and Blue States; Red States for Republicans, Blue States for Democrats.
But I've got news for them, too. We worship an awesome God in the Blue States, and we don't like federal agents poking around our libraries in the Red States. We coach Little League in the Blue States and have gay friends in the Red States.

That was like teasing republican pit bulls with juicy red meat. And when he explained the motivations behind classic economic liberalism in the next sentence AND MADE IT SOUND REASONABLE TO REPUBLICAN EARS, that was like giving those same pit bulls a nice big healthy salad instead.
Obama rules.
