1. That's okay, they won't have any problem
getting Michael Reagan to show up and blather RW hate for 15 minutes. As long as they get a "Reagan" to speak, that's all that matters in their minds. Of course they're all muttering like Cheney in private.

2. It's hard to see how partisan Michael
can make up for Nancy's absence. Especially if the Democrats
can find a way to hammer the issue home.

Like a Bill Moyers interview with her during the Pug convention
or something.

3. They really need a good speaker to fire up their convention
McCain and Arnold isn't going to do it.

5. Michael Reagan
I find it rather ironic for Michael Reagan to be complaining that the only reason his brother was at the Democratic Convention was because of his name. Isn't this the same Michael Reagan who once set out letters to prospective clients touting the fact that he was the son of the President?

Also, the GOP and conservative talk show hosts keep saying that the Democrats -- and Ron Reagan -- are being disingenuous because Ron never supported his father politically and that somehow we all believe he's a conservative Republican who's "seen the light".

Excuse me, but did anyone here ever think of Ron as a political conservative? Frankly, I never remembered him making any kind of political statements until last year although I'm sure it's because I wasn't looking for them.
