Question: Is there a current tradition... |
|
that former Presidents of the United States did NOT bash the current President? I only ask because a few conservatives are getting testy over Carter's speech. I don't buy it, but I can't find a speech by any former Republican President online from a convention. I checked for 2000 and 1996 convention sources, but no Bush Sr. speech. Can anyone help me out here?

I didn't think Carter's speech was that bad though. Republicans just have a hard time hearing the truth.

give 'em Hell when they Cheney up the country and the planet!
BTW, Bush, Sr. was about as dynamic a speaker as a slug. Who the Cheney would invite him to address the Bob Dole Convention?
