Question: Is there a current tradition...
that former Presidents of the United States did NOT bash the current President? I only ask because a few conservatives are getting testy over Carter's speech.
I don't buy it, but I can't find a speech by any former Republican President online from a convention. I checked for 2000 and 1996 convention sources, but no Bush Sr. speech. Can anyone help me out here?

1. They typically don't.
I didn't think Carter's speech was that bad though. Republicans just have a hard time hearing the truth.

3. The new tradition for former presidents with Nobel Peace Prizes...
give 'em Hell when they Cheney up the country and the planet!

BTW, Bush, Sr. was about as dynamic a speaker as a slug. Who the Cheney would invite him to address the Bob Dole Convention?

4. Heh! That's actually what I read about the last 2 GOP
conventions. They were apparently, terribly boring! The DNC has me pumped up though!
