What is the Kerry/Edwards Music theme?
What is their music? Like Clinton/Gore was "Don't stop thinking about tomorrow"

3. Keeping with the Fleetwood Mac theme...
I'd go with the utterly beautful "Songbird":

For you, there'll be no more crying
For you, the sun will be shining
And I feel that when I'm with you
It's alright, I know it's right

To you, I'll give the world
To you, I'll never be cold
'Cause I feel that when I'm with you
It's alright, I know it's right

And the songbirds are singing,
Like they know the score
And I love you, I love you, I love you
Like never before

And I wish you all the love in the world
But most of all, I wish it from myself

And the songbirds are singing
Like the knew the score
And I love you, I love you, I love you
Like never before, like never before

2. It should be Tom Petty
I wish I knew the name of the song, but we know witch one I mean. It has such a great line.

"You can stand me up at the gates of Hell, but i wont Back down."

9. "I Won't Back Down"
The Bush campaign tried to use it in the 2000 campaign, but Petty put his foot down.

"After Petty's 1989 single "I Won't Back Down" was used at Bush campaign events, publisher Randall Wixen wrote a letter at the behest of Petty. It states, 'It has recently come to our attention that your presidential campaign has been using the above-referenced song in connection with your presidential bid. Please be advised that this use has not been approved . . . Any use made by you or your campaign creates, either intentionally or unintentionally, the impression that you and your campaign have been endorsed by Tom Petty, which is not true.'"

4. Well, CNN just showed the Black Eyed Peas doing a soundcheck.
They were performing "Let's Get It Started," so maybe that's a clue?

Wouldn't be a bad choice... and I think it's very, very cool of the Black Eyed Peas to come out loud and proud for Kerry/Edwards. :D

8. Under Pressure!
Bowie's "Under Pressure" would be a FANTASTIC choice, too:

Pressure pushing down on me
Pressing down on you no man ask for
Under pressure
That burns a building down
Splits a family in two
Puts people on streets

Bah bah bah bah bah bah
Bah bah bah bah bah bah

That's o-kay!
It's the terror of knowing
What this world is about
Watching some good friends
Screaming let me out!
Pray tomorrow takes me higher
Pressure on people
People on streets

Do do do bah bah bah bah
O-kay

Chippin' around
Kick my brains round the floor
These are the days
It never rains but it pours

People on streets
People on streets

It's the terror of knowing
What this world is about
Watching some good friends
Screaming, let me out!
Pray tomorrow takes me higher higher high
Pressure on people
People on streets
Turned away from it all
Like a blind man
Sat on a fence but it don't work
Keep coming up with love
But it's so slashed and torn
Why why why?
Love love love love

Insanity laughs under pressure we're cracking
Can't we give ourselves one more chance?
Why can't we give love that one more chance?
Why can't we give love give love give love?
Give love give love give love give love give love?
Cause love's such an old fashioned word
And love dares you to care
For the people on the edge of the night
And love dares you to change our way
Of caring about ourselves
This is our last dance
This is ourselves under pressure
Under pressure pressure

That's pretty suitable, I think. Particularly for Cheney.

21. I want it to be
All Fired Up (Benatar)

Livin' with my eyes closed, goin' day to day
I never knew the difference, I never cared either way
Lookin' for a reason, searchin' for a sign
Reachin' out with both hands, I gotta feel the kick inside
All Fired up
Now I believe there comes a time
All fired up
When everything just falls in line
All fired up
We live an' learn from our mistakes
All fired up, fired up, fired up - Hey

Ain't nobody livin', in a perfect world
Everybody's out there, cryin' to be heard
Now I got a new fire, burnin' in my eyes
Lightin' up the darkness, movin' like a meteorite

Chorus:
All fired up
Now I believe there comes a time
All fired up
When everything just falls in line
All fired up
We live an' learn from our mistakes
All fired up, fired up, fired up
The deepest cuts are healed by faith
Now I believe there comes a time
When everything just falls in line
We live an' learn from our mistakes
The deepest cuts are healed by faith
