It's been AWESOME!!! On the regular HDNET channel they've been showing an hour from 10-11 only, but last night I realized that on Dish they've been showing the ENTIRE CONVENTION from 4PM 'til it's over on the HDPPV channel...so, Kucinich in Hi Def tonight...woo hoo!!!
I think their coverage has been great...the announcer seems generally interested, and not judgemental...and he LOVED Obama's speech last night...
Finally, another choice than the talking heads on the news channels...(although CSpan has been good & PBS for the most part).

It's only available on the Hidef package from Dish...it takes a specific kind of satellite dish to pick it up...sorry!

VOOM's set-top-box converts all of it's HD content to SD and outputs through RCA, S-VID and good old coax.

I can record it in high def!
It still pissed me off that ABC/NBC/CBS/PBS for some reason aren't showing it in high def.
BTW - Doesn't the HDNET announcer seem a little creepy? Who is he?

I have VOOM and I get VOOM HD news..is that what you're talking about? Because last week before the convention, I saw something I never thought I'd see on ANY news station...a reporter going to talk to protesters!!! (gasp) I was shocked!! Since then I have been watching this news station which covers the convention in HD and much, much better than CNN (even though they do have that premie location)

On INHDTV from cox cable.
It was great! Hoping for more!
In the past they showed a documentary on Clinton's photographer.
Another on Clinton speeches.
It's like DU HD!
