3. Don't know if they are attacking.
But some are trying to co-op him. Via Daily Kos.

5. Randi pays too much attention to what goes on in freeperland
Yes the freepers are not being nice, but why pay attention to them?

15. Maybe she caught it from the DU....
I for one am sick of threads on CNN, MSNBC, Freerepublic, and Fox.

There ought to be a forum called "know your enemy" so folks can post and complain there.

The same pattern happens...

"You won't believe what they just said"
"I'm no longer watching 'x' network"
etc, etc.

It wastes valuable space on the GD board etc.

Why don't we just get a new forum and move threads (a la the I/P conflict) there -- folks can then go and have a collective complaint and be happy

Just a suggestion :)

8. Surely you're not surprised at this?
They'd mug your grandma and brand her a terrorist if it benefited them politically.

And on top of that-they are dumb. Finally, I really think this shit is gonna bite them on the ass. Oh, sweet justice, I hear the bell tolls for those that are Republicans too. It's a long time coming, but you gotta keep the faith. Well, Obama is inspiring me.

9. Randi's take on Obama:

"One line in a speech from Barak Obama and $100 million of
Republican attack ads to poof."

She's right.

10. I guess that would show a complete lack of objectivity. Not a shock, but..
Even David Brooks was very impressed with Obama last night.

11. The RNC people have set-up the War Room in a Boston Hotel...
...that is staffed by dozens of freepers watching everything that is happening at the convention and issuing immediate talking points by computer email to spokespersons who can respond with negative spins and attacks of everything. It is all out political warfare by the republicans and the committee to re-elect George Bush (CREEGB) against every democratic party position and comment. This is the party that wishes to unite America, which part of America they are uniting and against who specifically, I'm not sure, but this is war on American soil!

12. Is she talking about the cocaine?
The only thing I've heard is how he admited to having done cocaine when he was 18 and a troubled kid, but he used it as a growing experience and got past it.

Republicans are twisting the words of a chicago humorist who satirically quoted obama as saying "sure I did cocaine, didn't everyone." or something like that, and they're saying that OBAMA actually said that.

What was Bush putting up his nose 20 years ago again? You know. Back when he was a full fledged mature adult?
