Matthew Dowd (Bush campaign) uses Obama comment to boost agenda

Dowd was just asked on CNN about a comment from Obama that the country is not as divided as some people think.

He jumped on it.

"Oh, I agree, the country is very united in that they want low taxes, someone to fight for them in the war on terra, etc. etc. etc."

Right before that they Quoted Evil Dick Cheney saying he did not want to try on a jersey he had been given "because he might look like Kerry in the space suit."

Dowd said, "well, comedians will be talking about it, and there will be a lot of discussion, and we would rather talk about our agenda but there will still be a lot of talk about it."
