2. I think he believes that IF the flap about the sex clubs

blows over, he can jump back in (or, in fact, never officially
removes himself). He is dreaming... he's toast.

3. Anybody who would run against Obama
is not only doomed to a landslide defeat but is also unpatriotic and Un-American.

8. That's just mean
There are plenty of honorable people who can run as a Repug. Doesn't mean that they will win, but someone has to run.

Please explain - unpatriotic & un-american???

13. I was kidding...sort of
I take a dim view of anybody who would purport to stand in Obama's way.

7. not quite correct
James Oberweis, millionaire milkman, wants badly to run, and he will, too, if they let him

but they won't, as his platform rests upon the mostly single plank of very very restrictive immigration policies, particularly regarding Mexico

this is diametrically opposed to the chihuahua in chief's proposal, aimed directly AT hispanic voters, so the Illinois GOP 'leadership' won't let him have it

19. What an idiot. Wonder who has tended his cows for so long?
Many of the factory farms hire illegals. So, more restrictive immigration policies, the less pay illegals would accept to be housed and fed while working his farms?

6. There's no one who could possibly beat Obama....
so why don't they just leave Ryan on there?

11. That's why I posted this
because no one seems to want to take over for Ryan. He might as well just take his beating from Obama.

14. It doesn't matter.
Any candidate is will be defeated in November by Obama.

The Rep candidate will only be able to gain name recognition for future attempts.

Therefore, I think Ryan may want to keep a low profile this year and, if he runs again, hope that his love life scandal will be forgotten.
