5. Hold off on that judgement there friend |
|
Wait until you get to know the conservative Dems from Missouri. People like Skelton and Volkmere put Miller to shame. The only reason they're still Dems is because of that Southern/Civil War ethic of never becoming a 'Pug.

7. Missouri wasnt fully a secessionist state actually, it was split |
|
How do people like Skelton put Miller to shame? I dont see Ike putting his support behind Bush, he's not my kind of dem but I appreciate the fact that he can be elected in his district. Skelton is from the Indepedence area like Harry Truman was, hes not great but he gets the job done, I'd rather have a loyal but conservative dem representing that district than a conservative republican.

He is anti abortion, pro war, pro NRA, pro corporations, the list is endless. No, he doesn't come right out and say that he is behind Bush, but then again, he doesn't have to.
By the by, he is from Lexington, not Indepencence, and represents the central-southern part of Missouri, they same stomping grounds that throw up the likes of John Ashcroft and Jim Talent.
