1. Deep Throat was Poppy Bush. That's why Woodward kisses Bush ass.
Woodward could never find any wrongdoing by Poppy Bush in BCCI or IranContra or Iraqgate.

Woodward said on LKL that he doesn't see a scandal or a story in Enron.

Woodward gets access to Bush2 who is notoriously suspicious of the media.

Woodward writes that Tenet told a doubting Bush that the evidence was a slam dunk, letting Bush off the hook and putting Tenet ON.

Woodward was planted at the WPost by Poppy. He was Naval Intelligence officer who four months after starting at the Post gets an anonymous tip from a White House confidante...yeah...just a coincidence.
