Tweety's All-White Panel
Al's speech is an insult to African American voters. The shouting is like chalk on a chalkboard. This isn't going to reach the middle, undecided voters.

I cannot f'ing believe this.

Go to hell, Tweety.

1. Tweety has obviously never been to an African-American church.
Reverend Al's speech has all the inflections and cadences of a great sermon. So fuck that honky douche bag Tweety and his ignorance of African-American culture!

3. I like the way he interrupted Sharpton's speech
"His career was built on a lie." What an ass. Has he said anything positive about any of the Democrats?

4. You've gotta be f'ing kidding me
This just proves how out of touch with ordinary people Tweety and the punditocracy really is.

I had my sister on speakerphone and we couldn't hear each other from the woos and testifying.

8. That's the thing, see
I read papers, I don't do TV news or talking heads. But I do read the op-ed columns and it CONSTANTLY amazes me how freaking out of touch these guys are. They pretend to speak for all Democrats, but they don't seem to know what the hell they are talking about. I talk to Dems all the time, and what the op-ed guys say bears no resemblence to the reality I SEE and HEAR.

9. Will Tweety have...
A shard of credibility left after this election cycle?

probably not.

Will Tweety have a 20 megaton, 10,000 ft airburst Thermonuclear smackdown administered to him, on the air, by someone who's jockstrap he could not carry, before this election cycle concludes?

Most likely. I do hope so.

15. Tweety's a bigot
I always knew he was a douche bag, but I didn't really associate him with bigotry until tonight.

He was threatened by what Sharpton had to say. That's usually the reaction of bigots when someone of color speaks their mind.

16. Chris Matthews voted for Bush
He comes off as Mr. I was in the peace corps, worked for Carter, and I'm a smart politically savy guy, but he voted for the chimp.

That tells you something, doesn't it?

18. Is there some proof of this?
Has he mentioned it, for instance? I thought he was (once) a liberal, although that got left behind when he got a TV job.

21. Yes, he came out and said it during an interview on Hardball
It was some time ago, before I started coming to DU. I'm sorry I can't say the interview, he was talking to someone and asked the guy who he voted for and the guy said he wouldn't say, and Chris said I'll tell you who I voted for, Bush, I bet that surprises you huh?

Well, it did surprise me. I would say the interveiw was early this year or late last year. That's all I remember.

17. IT was a GREAT speech!
How dare they bloody well cut it off!!!! CNN ran with it entirely but then clucked about how he'd gone over his six minutes and strayed from the script and blah blah blah. These "journalists" are absolute idiots, for sure. The only thing I am not quite sure of is whether the idiocy is pure unknowing stupidity or cleverly organized propaganda.

20. Tweety, displayed his true nature
Totally unbelievable. So, did Howard Fineman. "So, the blacks will vote for Kerry no matter what?" Perhaps, but why not cover all your bases regardless. This just goes to show you their mindset.
