8. And very relaxed at speaking.
Small to note, but I also like her haircut - very modern and simple.

12. That would be the English translation of Anno Domini (AD)
It's a very common practice for official documents to be signed, for example, "On the 28th day of July in the Year of our Lord, 2004."

I doubt that she initiated the practice.

14. If she would have said for Bush to 'shove it'...she would have been a hit.
she said the right words, but never connected with the audience..

20. ok
She's an ok Governor, her speech was ok. I thought the analogy to the Boston Tea Party at the beginning was labored, but her speech got alot better when she dropped the artificial tone of voice and got into talking about jobs. I'll certainly take her over Pothole John Engler anyday, but I have just never been all that impressed with her. Ever since the time she won the AG race we've been told how she was a rising star on the national scene etc., and I just don't think she really measures up to the hype. When we chose her to run for governor over David Bonior we chose style over substance.

22. Wrong
She has the style and has managed to hold off the rethugs far better then David ever could have. Bonior is a good man but he is tied to tight to the unions. That would not bother me but it would most of our voters. Granholm has done a great job against all odds, and the people respect her and support her. I think you should rethink your position. She is the rethugs worst night mare. She is, in fact a rising star. Watch and learn!
