13. It should be about
3:30 before the convention starts - maybe he can announce that he is leaving the party - I know we're the party of inclusion but for Holy Joe, I'd make an exception. Can't stand him....

5. Say what you will about Lieberman, but...
...at least he never left the party. And unlike Zell Miller, he's not speaking at the RNC!

Beyond that, I find Lieberman a major embarrassment. And I'm from Connecticut!

Which is unforgiveable since he is my governor. When is he speaking?

Why in God's name is Biden speaking?

12. He should be speaking at the Republican Convention
He STILL stands behind Bush's decision to go to war in Iraq. He has been a shill for the GOP for years. He still thinks that Iraq and Al Qaida are connected. He is a democrat in name only.

Its not a matter of "personal beliefs" - you don't send our troops to die over "personal beliefs."

If you have some facts, share 'em.

What connection?

How are they "somewhat connected"?

"Fucking narrow minds are what's embarassing."

What's embarassing is brainless repetition of a long-discredited canard.

So you're saying its "open-minded" to believe an outrageous lie like the Saddam/Al-Qaeda connection?

32. Now you're posing as some independent freethinker for buying a LIE?
Edited on Wed Jul-28-04 09:55 PM by thebigidea
A lie sold to us by the Bush administration, and believed by a majority of Americans despite all the facts to the contrary?

What, pray tell, is so gloriously independent-minded about swallowing such nonsense hook, line, and sinker?

And I ask you again - how were Saddam and Al-Qaeda "somewhat connected"?

16. I heard him today on local radio.
He talked about how he was going to talk about how Kerry voted for the resolution and how he believes most of the delegates don't support the war, therefore (I'm paraphrasing here) were very different from most Democrats. I think PNAC's Democratic poster boy is losing his mind. God, I hope someone in CT has the nads to run against this man for the Democratic slot in 2006.
