1. Brown asked him if the Democrats were trying not to look too liberal.
He said "Yeah... but the Republicans came on in 2000 as "COMPASSIONATE CONSERVATIVES" if you don't call that an understatement...because we have not seen any such thing.

How does this guy define liberal. The Democrats have never been more liberal. Did he miss Al Sharpton's speech? John Edwards speech? Where is this guy?

They've airbrushed about 20 years and 40 pounds off him. I think it shows up in Time/Newspeak/BizWeek
