What Senate bills has Kerry written and gotten passed?

1. Not off the top of my head but....

I do know he led the Iran-Contra and the BCCI investigations that included the Bush family...if that might be a good start for you....?

2. Kerry was an issues guy more than a legislative guy, I think.

He took hi-profile positions on a lot of Democratic core issues. He was more an influencer than an initiator.

Does that bother me? No....how many years did Bush spend in Congress? Too bad, perhaps he might have learned humility working for his constituents.

I thought the GOP charges that kerry never sponsored anything were BS. Usually, we get good immediate refutations on DU. Not in this case...they may be right.

4. he's the junior senator

As I understand it, teh junior senator doesn't usually get a chance to initiate any legislation. If Kerey did propose something, Kenedys' name would be first on it.
