My brother-in-law keeps sending me trash lies on democrats and just now I got an e-mail from him about Ted Kennedy killing Mary Jo Kopechne.......how many freakin years has THAT been? I swear,these republicans are grasping at everything.....you should have seen all the trash mail he's been sending me. For what? He knows I am a hardcore Democrat,does he think I will switch parties and become a rightwingnut Nazi? Geesus,he makes me ill. I need some good material to sling back at him. He's passing this shit around all over the net. What makes me so mad is his freakin mother collects all the freebies she can from all these government programs that DEMOCRATS fought for,not repukes. Plus,the old bag has a bank account with quite a chunk in it. She could pay for her own stuff but rips off the government......and votes for repukes who wants to take all the goodies away from people who need it. God,I am pissed. :argh: The hypocrisy is what makes me so angry.

Remind him Kennedy isn't running for President, Kerry is. If he brings up something about a person's friends defining him/her, remind him John Kerry also considers John McCain his friend (and despite politics, the feeling is mutual).

Try not to use words like Nazi, I know you're angry, but that is inflamatory & Conservatives and Moderates stop listening when they hear it (those who would listen anyway, those who wouldn't just assume you call everyone to the right of Karl Marx a Nazi.)

You could say something like, "You know, we have different opinions, neither of us is going to change but we're family, so can't we just agree to disagree" If he keeps at it then check out some of the liberal sites that have links on the DU Home Page for good ammo on Dubya.

yeah, it irritates me when people take from govt programs to get ahead & then want to deny it to everyone else, like a woman having an abortion & then saying it should be illegal. That just makes me admire John Edwards that much more because he didn't get all those special govt programs & he still champions giving a hand to the poor, etc.
